Puppy Love

Last week, Gavin started waking himself up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and woke up many mornings with a dry pull-up on! We were SO happy with our BIG BOY that we decided to surprise him with special outing on Sunday.

For his birthday (1st? 2nd?) Gavin's Aunt KeeKee gave him a gift certificate to Build A Bear Workshop... I decided to keep it for a special occasion and we thought that THIS was it!

We walked in a he took some time picking his new friend... he chose a cute Brown Sugar Puppy! For those that are not familiar with the shop, you chose an animal friend and you can pick a special sound box to for them if you would like. The you get to stuff them, "wash" them and pick out clothing for them! The best part is when you "adopt" them and print our their birth certificate. :) Gavin loved every second of it all!!

After all that, we need to "wash" our new friend... can't bring home a dirty puppy!

Gavin picked the name the second he picked his friend out... Snickers!
